How to get to Brno circuit by public transport

Brno Circuit is located only 30 min from city centre. Frequent buses link the city centre to the Brno Circuit and allow easy access to MotoGP Brno.

During the Czech MotoGP, there are two bus lines:

Bus No. 402 departing from Starý Lískovec: To catch this line from Brno Main Train Station, take the tram number 8, direction Starý Lískovec, to the last stop called. From here, take Bus No. 402 to the bus station called.

Check the timetable here.

During the Moto Grand Prix, there is also a special Bus, line No. 400, operating only on Saturday and Sunday. To get this line from Brno Main Train Station, take Tram No. 1, direction Bystrc, to the stop called Mendlovo náměstí (Mendel’s square). From here, take the Bus No. 400, which takes you right to the Brno Circuit.

Check the timetable here (The timetable for this line is issued specially for every big race in the particular section.).

To use public transport in Brno, you must buy a ticket. The ticket is always valid from the moment of its issue. If you fail to use a ticket, a fine may be imposed of up to CZK 800 (EUR 32).

If you are staying in Brno for the whole MotoGP weekend, there are some hotels offering shuttle buses directly to the circuit.

Disabled Persons

With the modernisation of the fleet, an increasing number of public transport vehicles are barrier-free. The timetables include information on stations that have lifts or special paths making them accessible to disabled people.
